EBS Romania S.R.L. was established in June 2000 by a German standard software manufacturer. That company outsourced part of the
software development for its commercial solutions to Romania. In 2002 the company was acquired by the current owner Daniel Metz through a management
buy-out.
The business units of the from now on independent company were established around its two core competencies: ERP and nearshore.
In the Romanian market, EBS is successful in the development and commercialisation of its ERP system Clarvision. More than 160
industrial customers have implemented Clarvision to control the financial, personnel, and production processes.
The EBS product portfolio dedicated to the Romanian market includes Clarvision ERP, Clarvision Payroll, Clarvision CRM and Clarvision
Business Intelligence.
In July 2009, EBS has been included in the Program Value Added Reseller of SAP.
With SAP Business All-in-One solution, EBS offers two complementary product lines: the own Clarvision system and SAP. This way, small
and large companies from various business areas can be served with the business solution that fits best their needs.
The strategic orientation on the international market relates to the provision of nearshore IT services: Software Engineering Services and
ITIL compliant Support & Application Management Services for business applications like Microsoft, SAP and JAVA Platforms, especially for
customers from German speaking countries.
EBS can look back on its over 10 years of successful history: the company turned from a 12-person subsidiary of a German company into one of
the most important IT companies in Transylvania and Romania. EBS currently employes over 500 people, has 4 locations in Cluj, two offices in
Sibiu, one in Brasov and one in Bucharest and is a strategic partner of companies such as SAP Romania, Microsoft, IBM and Oracle and has a solid
customer base in Romania, Germany, Austria and Luxembourg.
