- Automatization
A template will be created for each report of the existing system, which is useful for an automated process. A certain report flows into OutputManager from the old system and will be allotted to the correspondent template. The output file emerges through the combination of the two files, without being necessary for the user to view the reports. The number of files, which can go through such a process, is unlimited.

EBS OutputManager can provide, if needed, a tool for the programmers who develop reports in text-oriented applications; this tool permits the management of the text-oriented information in a user-friendly way.
This tool permits on the one hand to identify fields by cutting them out and on the other hand to convert them from the graphic view into a text-oriented customer-specific view.
The position of one field in a report, label name, etc can be transmitted to legacy storage systems.
- Predefined Patterns
A package with different graphical view patterns is available. The user can choose a predefined pattern and insert it into the Designer. He can save and reuse the components previously created. The user has therefore the possibility not only to save complete templates but also part of a template, he wants to keep. These patterns can be: frames, preemptions for creating logos, copyright information or different graphic components.
- Possibilities for Processing Data
It is possible to manage the information both as single fields and rows. The difference between those two models lies in the changes that must be done in the existing IT - System. These changes consist in the modification of some code lines in the lists and the detailed description of the fields' information in the Configuration Program.
